I'm using PowerPoint 2010 on a new PC, running Windows 8, and I'm getting a lot of display problems.
In particular, I get a clash of images when I move from the single slide editing view to the sorter view - the slide remains on screen and the sorter view is imposed on top of it - screen-grab attached. Scrolling the sorter view up and down usually gets rid of this, but when moving, copying, pasting etc nothing appears to happen, though in fact it does. It's as if the screen can't keep up with what's happening. The graphics card is a GeForce 9800GTX+ and is the same card I used in my previous PC which ran Windows 7 and had no problems. All other Office (and other) progs are fine, it only happens on PowerPoint. My graphics card drivers are all up to date so I'm guessing this is a Windows 8 issue - anyone else had this? My system spec is: - Core i7 3770K - 16 Gb memory - GeForce 9800GTX+ graphics card - Twin 24" Iiyama ProLite monitors - Windows 8 Last edited by tallon; 07-16-2013 at 01:48 AM.
