You're sure the Nvidia drivers are current (320.49 I think)
There were serious display issues with 320.18 (according to NVidia users I have ATI)

In PowerPoint Options > Advanced does ticking / unticking Disable Hardware Graphics make any difference?

Ah.... the last time I looked the 320.49 was only a beta - just got the 320.49 actual and that' s cured it (doh!) - thanks!
