There.s no simple way to do this.
The of xx will not update automatically whatever you do. The best solution is to go to the slide master and delete all of the slide number placeholdes then add a normal textbox to the large master. Type "Slide " then INSERT SlideNumber Then type " of 10" . You will still need to change the total yourself though. Numbering and Footer suck in 2007 / 2010!
