Open a presentation based on the new template AND a presentation based on the old.
View > Window > Arrange All and then make sure both are in slide master view. Select the thumbnail of the new slide master and click the Format Painter in Home Tab Click on the old master. Work? |

Hi John,
Thank you for your response. It didn't appear to work entirely. The format painter option does copy over the font, however it looks like the original master text style isn't copying over completely. For example: Original Format: *Click to Edit Master Text Styles (Ariel Body 14) - Second Level (Arial Body 12) *Third Level (Arial Body 14) - Fourth Level (Arial Body 10) >> Fifth Level (Arial Body 10) New Format: *Click to Edit Master Text Styles (Book Antiqua Body 18) > Second Level (Book Antiqua Body 18) - Third Level (Book Antiqua Body 18) *Fourth Level (Book Antiqua Body 18) >Fifth Level (Book Antiqua Body 18) Basically, I would like to keep the text styles the same as the original and when I use the format painter option, it does change the font on the new style but it does not change the font size to be consistent with the various tiers. This is causing the slides to appear incorrectly on the new layout. Is there any way to retain the master text style as it is for the original slides while applying a new layout? Does this make sense or did I just over complicate matters? Regards |
