Make animations last longer

I am using PPT 2010 on Win 7. I want to make an entry animation last two seconds longer than normal to sync with my narration track. What is the best way to do this?

Select the animated shape. Click animation tab. To the right you can adjust the duration of the animation to anything you wish.
