Resize and distribute width

Hi
I have to copy 2 pictures into a PowerPoint (2010) page, then I need to

1) resize each image

2) distribute each across the page*

I need to do that for multiple pages in my PowerPoint doc, so its quite repetitive...

If anyone can supply code to automate this process, it would be very much appreciated...

*Please note that as the original sizes can differ in width (and heigth) I have been unable to use VBA code that simply resizes and then moves the resized pictures to a particular place on the page...
