Not necessarily.

Example:

Slide 1

Two normal shapes with fade in animation

Switch to slide 2 which has the two shapes with NO animation (ie visible) and the flash video which plays

Switch to 3
Has shapes plus image of video and new shape with animation

To the viewer it looks like one slide.


Make sense?
