Faulty alignment of charts linked from excel to powerpoint

Hi guys,

I have a problem with linking charts from excel to Power Point 2007. When i paste a linked chart in Power Point, the left part of it has disappeared so it appears incomplete. it is as if power point automatically aligns the chart to a hidden grid. How can a person solve this problem. Any help will be highly appreciated.
