I seldom have problems with PowerPoint while viewing/modifying presentations. However, when I close the program and move on to other tasks, I sometimes notice the system becomes overburdened a few minutes later. Upon checking the resource monitor, I find that CPU usage is at 100% with PowerPoint using the vast majority. Very strange considering no PowerPoint windows are open.
Is this a known issue? Can anyone suggest a resolution? Thanks. |
