First - I can't repro this. I see the height and width when I open your sample in 2003.
BUT There is a bug in 2003. If the default shape is set to resize to fit text then the numbers will be blank for new shapes/ You do seem to have this set as default. I don't see how it could affect charts but worth a look. Insert a shape. add a lttle text and Right click > Format Shape In TextBox untick Resize to fit Text OK out and right click again set as Default Shape |
