I'm using Outlook 2010 and trying to customize a new message form. I can add a control from the control toolbox such as a Label or a Command button, customize it like I want then Publish it. Then I click "Run This Form" and all the controls are there, then send myself a test message with this form. When the test message comes back to my inbox, all the controls are gone - no label, no CommandButton. I can look at the delivered message in design view and the controls are gone, not just covered up. However, if I start a new message using the customized form, all the controls are still there. I use Outlook 2007 at work and have no trouble sending or receiving messages with custom controls in it but doing the same steps in Outlook 2010, the controls don't seem to go out with the message. I hope I've described the problem clearly enough. Thanks in advance for any input with this...

Here's an image to help explain what's happening. Top half of image is as sent to myself, bottom half of image is what I get in my inbox.
The blue bar beneath the "Subject" line as well as the "Sponsored By..." Label are both missing in action. I do a real similar thing with Outlook 2007 at the office and it works fine, but not with Outlook 2010 so far. Any Ideas ? |
