Hi
I am facing an issue Outlook 2010. I have an application that opens VCard when a user interaction happens. My application uses Outlook Object Model to access the outlook functionalities. Scenario: Precondition: Outlook is NOT running. 2. User interaction happens to open V- card from my application. 3. vcard opens. The outlook process(Outlook.exe) starts. 4. user closes the vcard. 5. Then the outlook process also ends at the background. This causes a problem My application on launching starts fetching outlook contacts also. When the contacts are being loaded by app, at that time if the vcard is opened and closed, the outlook process also shuts down. This results in an error in fetching the contacts. I am terribly stuck at this point now. Can you please let me know why the outlook process ends when the vcard is closed and is there any way to keep the outlook running in the background? Strangely this issue is not there in Outlook 2003. Please help me out in this. |
