Outlook slow to open folder
I am running Outlook XP. When I receive an attachment or when I try to attach an attachment, it is very slow to open the folder. Let me explain. I click on save attachment. The folder view opens pointing to the last used location -- usually My Documents. If I save there everything is ok.
If I want to save in a different folder, I might click on the C drive. It may take 1-2 minutes for that view to display. If I then click on a folder on that drive, it may take 1-2 minutes for that view to display. As I click down the path, each step takes 1-2 minutes to display. The same happens if I am trying to navigate to a folder in order to attach a file to an outgoing mail. Thanks for any help. Robert Tankersley, CDP |

I found the answer in another section.
