![]() Hi, the problem, I have, came with the recent SP1 update of Office 2010. The following scenario worked before: I prepare several emails in Outlook and save them in my drafts folder. Afterwards, I attach these "Outlook items" to a mail to my colleague. He opens every attached email and presses the "Send"-Button in order to check the mails and to have his email address as sender of the emails. Since the recent SP1 update the attached emails are only opened in a non-modifiable view and the mail cannot be sent. There is a solution to send this email by clicking "resend this message". Then you get a message, that you are not the original sender and then you can edit this email. However, these are three more steps for every email. Since we have an exchange server, I know that there is the option to get "Send-as"-rights. However, this is not applicable for us, because sometimes the prepared emails comes from someone outside the company. There is still the old behavior, if I prepare the mails and send them altogether as attachments to myself and open them. I.e. Outlook checks the original sender of the email and if it is not the same as the one who actually opens the message you cannot send the mail. I think this tiny thing is changed in the last update due to security reasons. However, I think there must be an option or registry entry that can be changed in order to get the old behavior. Has anyone an idea or knows what must be changed to get the old behavior? Thank you very much for your help in advance. |
