Thanks! Weirdly enough, after selecting "show hidden folders" it didn't show the correct file path, but when I opened up Outlook this morning it decided to work. I have no idea what I did, but I can access Outlook now. Thanks for all your help!
(to answer your question, yes, the user was given a profile and set to always access this account)
