As a test:
If you give the user "Owner Permissions" to your Calendar, can they create a new "Category" in the Shared Tasks? I think the master category list permission originate from the Calendar permission. Try it out. Good Luck! |

Sorry I took long to reply to solution, I simply stopped working on this problem for a while. I just recently tried your solution and the buttons aren't greyed out anymore. I'll follow up on you to see if everything went well. And thanks, I really apperciate it.
