I have a shared calendar that I want my employees to send their requested time off via appointment feature. I can than accept or decline. Is there a way that they are sent to the shared calendar and not my personal calendar?

If you are on a exchange server, you can create a public folder and create shared calendar.

You may simply create a new calendar from Outlook and only share that calendar with your other users.
