Google is not my friend today.
I have recovered data from an unbootable hard drive (3 bad sectors), and it appears the data is in good shape. I got the outlook express folders (and all my documents / pictures / music) from a Windows XP Pro computer. I am trying to put the saved emails on my new Windows 7 laptop, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with Outlook 2007 installed. It appears I have all the files needed, I was able to recover the entire Microsoft folder in the appdata folder from my Windows XP computer. I just can't get outlook to see the data. I am sure I am putting them in the wrong directory, but I found myself between a rock and a hard place. Any ideas? |

If you have the .PST or .DBX file from the old Outlook Express directory you can simply use the import/export wizard to import the data into Outlook.
