I am at my wits end here. I am running Outlook 2003 (11.8330.8333) SP3. I don't know when this started but Outlook will not let me open .pdf files or .doc files. Instead I get the Attachment Security Warning that allows me to save or cancel. Right now I'm just trying to get the pdf's working so here's the Registry:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\ Outlook\Security Level 0x00000003 (3) Level1Remove .pdf Level2Remove .pdf OutlookSecureTempFolder C:\Documents and Settings\David\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLKEE\ UseCRLChasing 0x00000001 (1) Note that the OLKEE directory does not exist. I exited Outlook, changed the registry, and restarted with no success and then rebooted - still no success. Anybody have any ideas here as to what I'm missing. MS has not made this easy since the Security Manager was added (with SP2 I believe). Thanks for your help, David |
