I recently got Microsoft Office Professional Plus from my university. When I tried to do the initial startup I had the wrong exchange server address. Now I can't do anything. Whenever I start Outlook a window pops up that allows me to change the exchange server and mailbox name. It says to check name and click ok when name is underlined but when I put the correct information in a dialogue box pops up saying "The connection to Microsoft exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this." Then another box pops up saying "The name cannot be resolved. The connection to Microsoft exchange is unavailable." Then outlook just closes. I know that I am online so Outlook is definitely connected. Can someone please help me with this.

It's recommend to start over with the profile process. Go into your Control panel > Change to Small Icon view > Select the Mail Icon > Show Profiles. Remove the exchange profile.
This should allow you to crate a new one if all the information is correct. Hope this helps, |
