I received a few forwarded emails from my dad lately that have had video attachments. When I click on the email and error pops up and then the email makes copies of itself in the inbox until I just turn the PC off. It just started doing this recently and only with video attachments. If I go into safe mode I can go into Outlook 2007 and delete the messages. But when I get them in normal XP mode, it still does the same thing.
Note: Other people who have got the forward don't have this problem. Some are using Outlook 2007. Also, when I access my email via the internet (not outlook), I can view the messages properly. And.... How can I backup all my settings and email from Outlook 2007? If I lost Outlook would I lose any emails? Windows XP Pro SP3 Outlook 2007 (part of office 2007) |

To backup all of your email and settings from Outlook, you can use the export function under the File Menu. This will export all of your information to a PST file on your pc. As long as you do a backup, you will not lose any emails if you remove Outlook.
