Very frequently Outlook stops and restart. It seem to happens many times per day. I get the feeling that it is not a stable product. Besides working locally I am connected to an Exchange server. Am I the only that see Outlook as an instable product. |

When starting a new email I do not want the extra lines that seem to be standard in Outlook. I know how to take the away but how do I set it as standard? |

When you say it stops and starts, do you mean Outlook closes and restarts? Or does it go offline and back online?
Are you on a laptop or pc? If on a laptop, are you connected through a wireless connection? Since you are on an Exchange Server, are any of your co-workers having the same issue? What extra lines are you referring to? |

Thanks for comments and question. Outlook stops and restart. It does not happen all days but quite frequently. I am using two mail boxes via the internet provider and I am also connected to an Exchange server at my previouus employer. I have not heard that anybody else have reported the same problem. On the other side I do not think the personal connected to the Exchange server is connected to another email provider at the same time. I have a feeling that the problem occur when Outlook is updating ie receiving/sending emails at the same time as I am looking in the archive. I am using a pc with Inte Core Extreme ( 4 cores), Win 7 64 bits so I cannot see any limitation in the installation. Regards Bengt |

Thanks for question. When typing an email you can chose Formating text and under paragraph the is an option to tick "Do not include an empty line". I would like to have that ticked as standard for all the emails I create but I do not find where to set that feature. Regards Bengt |
