Default Not receiving mail from yahoo, gmail and others

I use Outlook 2002. Over the weekend I found that emails sent from my yahoo and gmail addresses are not arriving in my inbox and now I'm receiving '421 message rejected' emails at my yahoo and gmail accounts.

I use 1ShoppingCart for orders and broadcasts. I sent a broadcast out on Sunday and always send myself a test to check all's well first. The test email did not come through, nor did the email that was in the broadcast. The notification of the broadcast has come through. So have several signups for newsletter etc. Am concerned that something may block an order. So only some of those emails are coming through.

My big concern is what other messages am I not receiving!

I thought it was probably a server (bigpond in Australia) problem and have put a tech support call in to them.

But then I remembered that there had been 9 downloads one night last week when I turned off my computer. Could it be the downloads have chanced some security setting? If so, how can I change it?

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
