Hello,
Is there any way to transfer messages between mailboxes in OWA, as can easily be done in Outlook proper? For my work I run two mailboxes in Outlook, one for my name and one for my workgroup. I regularly get mail sent to one mailbox that belongs in the folders of the other. I can simply drag and drop the email where it needs to be. When working from home I use Outlook Web Access (2007). Each mailbox opens in its own browser window, and I can't find any way to transfer messages from one to the other. Advice very welcome! Thanks Morgan |

Unfortunately it simply cannot be done as easily as it can in Outlook. You can forward messages from one to the other, but that's obviously not the same thing. With OWA you're opening the mailbox directly on the Exchange server, and the messages don't come down to your computer like they do in Outlook.
Will your company allow you to set up Outlook at home to connect to your accounts? -SW |

Thanks for that advice - I didn't understand the underlying logic until your post. Now I see why it's so problematic.
(My work's policy is for OWA only to be used while working off-premises. I'll keep just working around the problem, waiting until I come in to shift messages back and forth, and only if it really causes problems I'll embark on the lengthy conversations with IT!) Much appreciated, best regards Morgan |
