Opening reminders

I was just moaning about loss of the backup function, I knew about backing up PST. The Backup function seems to have cleared itself of the problem.
My real concern is the reminders issue.

Have you tried doing a repair install of Office? http://www.officeforlawyers.com/repairoffice.html
