Hello,
I currently am using MS Exchange 2007 on my Android, and on my desktop PC for work. (I work from home 100% remotely, and have my own internet connection and think the only thing I use is their exchange server at the corporate office.) I also just purchased an MS exchange email account with godaddy for a seperate website I am building/using, and wanted to combine both the email addresses to be viewed in the same version of outlook.
My concern is: I will have emails coming in from the godaddy account that I would rather not have affiliated with my work email and do not want them being combined somehow, or going back to my corporate office servers. This would be bad. Couple questions:
- Even though the Email Domain address and exchange servers are different for each account, will my work email possibly be getting my godaddy account data when I am clicking Send/Receive?
- Is it possible to just set the 2 addresses up into the same Outlook program/application on both my PC and desktop and never have to worry about them conflicting? If so, how?
- Since I work from home, how much of the data on my PC is actually "Local" to the box and what is going back to the company corporate server? Just the "Inbox and sent box?"
- If I cannot combine 2 seperate exchange accounts safely, is it possible to have 2 versions of outlook on a PC? I doubt it, but have to ask.
I am trying to avoid purchasing another phone to monitor the emails on the MS Exchange for the Godaddy account to keep everything completely seperate.
Thanks in advance to anyone that has the time to respond. I am looking for answers online and cant really seem to find ones that reflect what I am really trying to do.
