Have you tried changing to List view and then moving the recurring appointment?
To switch to list view, open the archive calendar. Then: 1. Click on the View toolbar. 2. Click on Current View. 3. Click on either All Appointments or Recurring Appointments. This should show just a list of the appointments, which you can then drag and drop over to your regular calendar with the recurrence. Hope this helps. SW
