I have bought a new Windows 11 Computer and set up Office 365 with Outlook(New).
I am trying to import the .pst file from my Windows 10 system into this, but there does not seem to be any option to specify where the .pst file should be located. Does it sill use .pst files? Googling this does has not produced any useful results and the Outlook application seems most unintuitive on this. Any help gratefully received. |

To the best of my knowledge 'New Outlook' does not support PST files.
You can have Outlook Classic and New Outlook on the same PC. (Office install is still installing Outlook Classic, it's just only pins the New Outlook icon to the Start Menu) Try Opening Outlook Classic, connect your 365 account; Import you PST file (or open you PST and copy your wanted data to 365). Check your 365 account for the data (I'd do this in a browser). Close Outlook Classic and carry on using New Outlook. |

Simon,
Thanks for the reply. I've figured most of this out now and managed to import my calendar settings from the PST file, which I no longer use as I have gone fully to IMAP. I am still going to use Outlook (Classic) as New Outlook seems to be deficient, such as the inability to colour items on the Calendar. I won't move to New Outlook until absolutely forced to (bit like not moving to Smart Meters). If it isn't broke, don't fix it. |
