Grega,
Not sure if you have done this yet, but just a suggestion. Press Crtl + Alt +Delete and access the Task Manager. Under the Processes tab click on Outlook.exe and hit End Process. Once you have done this, try opening Outlook again and see if this has been resolved. Keep me updated on your findings. Thank you!
