Default Export contacts CSV Translator Error: Comma Separated Values.ADR is missing

Windows 11 with Office 365 and Outlook version 2406.

Trying to export contacts to a CSV file. Outlook default data file is a PST.

In Outlook and on the People/Contacts tab > File > Open & Export > Import/Export

In the Import/Export Wizard - Export to a file > Comma Separated Values > Select 'Contacts' from folder list (folder list is for PST) > Provide save 'filename' >

Next, the option to Map Custom Fields... is displayed

I have checked the mapping and it looks fine so 'Finish' is selected.

Here is the error message: The file "C:\Users\rg759\AppData\Roaming\Comma Separated Values.ADR" was not found by the translator.

Press ok to error message and Contacts CSV file is created and the file works/readable.

Note the user account of rg759 in the path was an old user account and no longer exists; both in settings and under AppData.

I performed a search for *.ADR and did not find any on the C drive.

Why is the exporter looking to a non-existing user account? Also note it is looking in the roaming folder.

A repair was performed on Outlook but did not help.

I searched registry but did not see an obvious key related to Outlook and rg759 though I did find keys with rg759.

Using a Win 10 PC, .ADR file is present so I created the folders for the path in Win 11 and gave Full Control to everyone and I no longer receive the error.

I suspect either the full pathname is stored somewhere or given most of the path is known, the export wizard must be pulling the user account name (rg759) from somewhere and deriving the path.

Does anyone know where the contacts export wizard looks to for the mapping file path or values to derive the pathname?
