If you don't have OE on the target computer, you have to install MS Outlook on the source computer and use the outlook importing filter to transfer data from OE. After that you will be able to move the PST file to the target computer and use Outlook to open it.

Default Upgrading from Outlook Express (XP) to Outlook (Windows 7)

Thanks for your prompt response. The source (XP) computer has Outlook 2003 whereas the destination (Win 7) computer has Outlook 2007. I presume this wont make a difference and the PST file can still be shared?

Thanks.
