Default Capturing addresses into contacts

Hello all,

My name is Justin and I am new to the professional world of IT, just having graduated this summer. One of the things I've rapidly had to adjust to is supporting professional software with little to no prior experience. I've used older versions of MS Office but eventually went open source for my productivity software.

My boss in the office wants me to find a way to automatically capture any address found in the header of any email he receives for marketing purposes. i.e. If he receives an email that was also addressed or cc'd to say, 50 other people, he wants those 50 other addresses added into his contacts. He told me that my predecessor was able to do it and I've been scouring the Internet for software solutions but have so far been unsuccessful.

Does anyone have any suggestions, advice, or a general direction they can point me in. I would be very much obliged and look forward to any future discussions. Thank you.

Justin
