I am using Outlook in Microsoft 365. It is really annoying that after replying to or forwarding an email, frequently there is no arrow icon displayed. I have a few different gmail accounts. Sometimes the arrow icons are displayed but often are not. I have to keep going to the sent folder to see if I have replied to an email. Is this something that Microsoft is doing on purpose to frustrate Google users or is it shoddy programming?

I was recently switched over to the 365 version of Outlook for our business email. I count on the icons to show me quickly if I have responded or forwarded an email. I have tried the "..type appwiz.cpl and hit Enter.." but that didn't work. Need help on this please.


edit: I just found the solution; Replied/Forwarded can be added to Outlook via View>View Settings>Columns>Add>Icon.

Same problem. For me, the "View>View Settings>Columns>Add>Icon" didn't work because I already had the Icon added in the columns.

I cannot find "columns" under the view, view settings. I am using the web based outlook version on chrome. Any suggestions?

Exactly same thing, have the column for ICON, but still no 'icon' for forward/reply. All my other email accts are fine, just gmail.
