same situation...
This is what I solve my prob.
U may repair the Office with the CD Installer. It will detect the cab files which cause the error and replace it with working one. The other useful practice is try not the login using different then usually name. Installation usually refering to user profiles. Once login name differ sometimes will cause problem to the access to Office cab files.
