Hail all.
Firstly, I went to Microsoft account first, but when asking if they can collect data, you get the option: Yes/No. Clicking No results ... in not able to post anything. I would assume this is a breach in Privacy, no? So, why do this? Either way: I get emails like: "Congratz: you has won 5 million USD." "Sir, a dead relative left you 300'000 USD." and other similar, not to mention "Girl this or that wants to marry you." I am getting a tad tired of these, and thus I made several filters in Outlook Email, which are ignored oh so happily. Making me wonder, wait, why add this option if it is totally disregarded? And so, went looking for an add-on to Firefox that would help me getting rid of these highly annoying emails. But, as you already figured, this ... went no-where. Now, I do not use MS-Office Outlook (I only use Words and the like when needed, I do not want something in the background running like Outlook 365, if my Firefox has the Outlook Email site loaded at startup: no use having both do the same, right?). Which then brings me here: How do I block these annoyances permanently without Office Outlook, thus, in my browser Outlook Email? Thank you kindly: Xog. |
