Converting POP3 to IMAP in Outlook 365
I’m using Outlook 365 on several Windows 10 PCs. I have several Gmail accounts which are currently setup as POP3 but I want to convert them to IMAP. I went through the process once and ran into a few issues so I un-did everything and now I have a few questions:
1. With POP3, the data for all of the Gmail accounts was in a single .PST file. When I converted to IMAP the data for each Gmail account was in an separate .OST file. Is that the way it’s supposed to be or has to be?
2. I want all of the OST files to go into a folder of my choice. Since I have to go through this process again, is there anything I can do before, during or after setting up IMAP access for these Gmail accounts in Outlook so that the .OST files go in a folder of my choice? How?
Thanks!
