I've read the posts regarding the corrupt PST file but it didn't help me. I'm using "Exchange Server" and getting my e-mails on my laptop. I've got an OST file and have attempted to repair the PST without any luck.
What I'm able to do is use Internet Explorer from my house, or in the office, and get my mail that way. I'm not sure what one calls this method, but it had me thinking that since I can see all my old and new mail via Internet Explorer, and contacts as well, I should be able to either tell outlook to start from scratch or re-install outlook shouldn't I? I'm thinking I could delete the PST and OST and then Outlook would ask me where to look for them...Yes? Regards, Dan |

When you access your email (on an Exchange Server) through Internet Explorer, that means you are able to login to OWA (Outlook Web Access). Since you are able to login and see all of your information, that means the issue is local to your mail client/pst file.
You can remove the profile from Outlook completely, and set it back up. You won't lose any information since all of your info is stored on the Exchange Server. Once you set the profile back up and connect it to the Exchange Server, you will get all of your email/info back in Outlook. |
