Default Does Outlook store a copy for each recipient copied on an email or use pointers instead?

Hi, I sometimes copy myself on emails i send to others. And I want to assure one of my peers that it isnt a big waste of space like she thinks it is. Can I tell her Outlook doesnt actually store an extra copy for each address copied on an email?
