How to turn off getting new emails (send and receive setting)
How do I turn off getting new emails and sending emails? I'm moving to a new PC and don't want automatic send and receive turned on.
I want to be able to launch Outlook on my new PC, but not have new emails coming in until I'm ready. I'm on Outlook 2013. I changed this setting, but I'm still getting new emails every time I launch Outlook. File> Options> Advanced> Send and receive> Set Send and Received settings for incoming and outgoing items. I unchecked send immediately when connected.
