This may be questions with easy answers. I am just looking for assurances.




I will backup my Office 2010 Outlook .pst files


I will uninstall Office 2010


Then, install Office 2013. The questions are will the install find the .pst file used presently by Office 2010 Outlook and install it automatically?



If yes, then does it restore contacts, calendar, tasks, create email folders with the same names, and restore emails into them?


If not, will importing my .pst backup file into Outlook do as I explained above?


If not, then a recommendation for the next steps.
