Your link led me to another link in MSOutlook.info. I followed the step by step instructions to scanpst, reset index, rebuild index. Then left it sit overnight. The next morning, Outlook index status showed great big number left to index. I gave up and went about my work thinking that I would have to tackle it another day and just live without Instant Search until then. Tonight I decided to do a search and it seems to be working perfectly. Thanks again.
