I have a private email for the company where I work. It is installed on the Outlook program, and I do not know what happened, but suddenly the messages disappeared, and the last backup I made for the messages was on 7 / 7 / 2021.

I imported this backup which is done in 7/7/2021 in the hope that Outlook would download messages after the date of 7 / 7 / 2021, but I was surprised that the Outlook program after I linked again to my company email, pulls all years messages in my email so the old ones being duplicated, the messages that existed before 7/7/ 2021 are repeated until the beginning of the creation of this email, which is in 2016.

When Outlook is connected to the Internet, it downloads more than 7000 messages since 2016 and their size exceeds 2 gigabytes.

Is there a way to make Outlook download messages that are not already in Outlook inbox only without downloading messages that are already in it, i.e. after 7 / 7 / 2021.


I use Outlook 2010.
