Are you able to send emails from your pop3 account?
550 error is usually a misconfiguration of your SMTP server. There are two possible reasons as I'm aware: - You didn't configure your SMTP properly for your SMTP server. Almost all SMTP serers require authentication. or - You SMTP server only allows local connection.
