I have several outlook email accounts. When I send emails from my address book the default account is the sender. Can I assign a different email sender address to different address' in my address book?

Unfortunately this is not possible. However you can toggle the default account if you have multiple accounts. Your current default email accounts will always show in the From field.
Hope this helps. |

That does help. The problem is that I forget to "toggle'. Do I have to designate one account as a default sender. I would prefer to choose a sender account for each email. Possible?

if you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010, you can have multiple email accounts configured within your client. If each account is a different mail box, i.e is myname@anotheraccount.com and myname@myaccount, you should have the ability to select these address from the "from" field when composing a message.
Note: This works best if your primary account is an exchange account. however, this does not disallow the above steps to be used. -Check to see if all of your accounts are configured. - Compose a message. in the from field it will default to your defaulted account. You should be able to select the From button to select additional accounts to send from. hope this helps |

I'll tell you what I came up with; I assigned the email account name as the "signature" for DEFAULT email account. So, when I start an email I'm reminded that I'm using the default account and that if I want that email sent from the other account I can change it. I simply delete the signature line before sending. Problem solved!
