Slight variation

I am using IMAP and I think you are able to create a macro that will allow me to create and assign categories to all my various email. Is that the case?

I want to be able to create categories and when I have an incoming email that I be able to apply it to a given category and then archive it so I can easily find it but also have a clear email inbox.
