How to remove an old email account in Outlook 2018

I have two previous email accounts that show up when I open Outlook and have tried following various sets of instructions for removing them but cannot complete them. So, do I have to contact the companies to get that done or what? I am using Office 2018.

Hi Diana,
Can you mention the steps you have had followed so far?
Have you tried removing the account from the "Mail" at Control Panel?

The primary a/c cannot be removed from a profile until all other Exchange accounts are removed from the profile.
