Hi,
I have just received an email that says it's from my email address and has an old password on it, It says it has hacked my computer and knows everything I'm doing on it. It says it has put a rootkit in it that can't be found my an anti-virus. It says that if I pay bitcoins into an account they will decommission the rootkit. I'm very new to computers and am concerned. I've spoke to microsoft who say it's a common spoofing email but I should change my password which I have. Has anyone any comments on it or experience of this? |
