It's a long shot, but you might try opening a new email. Click signature from the ribbon menu at the top. The drop down has a link that launches the signature window. Maybe accessing that window from a different place will cause it to launch. Beyond what we've already discussed, I'm kind of shooting in the dark. A registry repair might be helpful. An online update and repair from MS might be helpful. Anyone else have an idea of how to repair Outlook for this? |

Thanks again. Another clue is that when I go to: Tools/Options/Mail Format there are 3 buttons at the bottom of window (stationery, signatures, and editor options). None of them have any effect. This suggests that a number of pieces are broken!
My computer has a bit of a different startup. It books directly to a non-admin Visitor account from which I log off and log into my Admin account. The Visitor account uses Parental Controls to limit program access. Typically when I install programs that are set to install for all users I have to play a few games to convert it to the Admin only account. I'm wondering if this is somehow killing certain parts of Outlook? |
