My ISP is leaving the 'email business' and I have needed to switch to a Gmail account. I have then forwarded all Gmail emails to Outlook 2013. This is working ok, but I am getting large numbers of extra emails, typically:
Mail Delivery Subsystem <MAIL-DAEMON@clear.net.nz> Delivery Notification: Delivery has failed fred.albertnz+caf_=fred.albert=clear.net.nz@gmail. com This report relates to a message you sent with the following header fields: Message-id: <20171119235057.02cb29a48513@www.msofficeforums.co m> Date: Sun, 19 Nov 2017 16:51:00 -0700 (MST) From: Microsoft Office Forums <forum@msofficeforums.com> To: fred.albertnz@gmail.com Subject: Welcome to Microsoft Office Forums! Your message cannot be delivered to the following recipients: Recipient address: fred.albertnz@gmail.com Original address: fred.albert@clear.net.nz Reason: SMTP transmission failure has occurred Diagnostic code: smtp;554 5.7.1 DNS Blacklisted by safe.dnsbl.sorbs.net Remote system: dns;10.80.52.114 (TCP|192.168.16.56|52113|10.80.52.114|25) (redirect4.vodafone.co.nz ESMTP Postfix) I am actually receiving the emails these messages are indicating have not been delivered. My ISP (Vodafone), said this was a Outlook/Gmail issue and they couldn't do anything about it. I'd be grateful for any help. I have checked my Outlook incoming/outgoing mail server settings and they appear to be correct according to Gmail help. Fred |
