One thing I did learn is that the desktop alert settings are stored in the Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\C ommon\DesktopAlerts.
The Reg_DWord are Corner, Opacity, TimeOn, XOffset, and YOffset. Corner Values 1) Upper Left 2) Upper Right 3) Bottom Right 4) Bottom Left
